The Isaiah Turner Foundation’s mission is to empower athletes.
The Isaiah Turner Foundation works to promote awareness of the impact of sickle trait on athletes and to provide support to under served communities in Philadelphia.
The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:
- to provide educational and training information and opportunities to athletic trainers, coaches, student athletes, and the parents of athletes
- to advocate for the implementation of guidelines, regulations, and legislation that promote the screening of sickle cell trait, education of the impact of sickle cell trait on athletes, and the training of athletic staff on how to keep athletes with sickle cell trait safe
- to honor the legacy of Isaiah Turner by providing support to individuals and families in underrepresented communities;
- to sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that educate the general public on the impact of sickle cell trait and injuries on student athletes

Honouring Isaiah Turner’s legacy, we focus on supporting individuals and families in underrepresented communities. Additionally, we actively engage in events and initiatives to raise awareness about the effects of sickle cell trait and sports-related injuries on student-athletes, fostering a safer and more informed athletic environment.
