Isaiah Turner Foundation:
Awareness + Action = Legacy
empowering athletes with Sickle Cell.
At the Isaiah Turner Foundation, we are on a mission to champion the health and safety of athletes living with sickle cell trait. Through awareness, education, and advocacy, we strive to create a future where every athlete can thrive – regardless of their genetic makeup. Rooted in the heart of Philadelphia, we are committed to uplifting our communities and ensuring no one is left behind.
Our Vision in Action
We believe that applied knowledge is power and action creates change. That’s why we’re dedicated to:
Educating and Empowering: Providing athletes, coaches, trainers, and parents with the tools and knowledge they need to understand and manage sickle cell trait.
Advocating for Change: Pushing for policies, guidelines, and training programs that prioritize the safety and well-being of athletes with sickle cell trait.
Honoring Isaiah’s Legacy: Supporting individuals and families in underrepresented communities, ensuring they have access to resources, care, and opportunities.
Building Awareness: Hosting events and initiatives that shine a light on the impact of sickle cell trait and inspire communities to take action.
Together, we can rewrite the narrative for athletes with sickle cell trait. Join us as we honor Isaiah Turner’s legacy, empower athletes, and create a safer, more inclusive future for all!
